"Fantasy of the ancient road"
"Nachi's fan festival" is famous as "Nachi's fire festival". Burning torches go up and down the approach to the Nachi Falls.It is the religious ritual to purify the twelve portable shrines. The portable shrines are surrounded by big torches on the stone steps and they are purified by the flame.Around the role who carry the torch with 50 kg or more,the role of firing the flames and the role of sprinkling water on the torch make the festival successful.
Based on "Nachi's fan festival" I drew "The fire festival of Kappa" as an illusion of "World Heritage Kumano Ancient Road".
