"Hotei points to the moon"
The phrase at the upper side is"The parable of Pointing to the Moon"in "The theory of great wisdom"written by Nagarjuna.
Words are acquired by righteousness,
and righteousness is not in words.
A man points by his finger to the moon,
and show to the deceiver
The deceiver sees the finger, not the moon.
A man says "I point my finger to the moon,
to make you know this.
Why do you look at my finger
and do not look at the moon?"
Like this,
the word is the finger for significance,
and the word is no significance.
