" The rice is ripened and sake is brewed"

2022 - H1040×W350

The phrase upper side of the painting is "Description of the village" by Wei Zhuang in the Tang Dynasty.

緑蔓映雙扉 循牆一径微

雨多庭果爛 稲熟諸禽肥

醸酒迎新社 遥砧送暮暉

數聲牛上笛 何處餉田歸

Green vines are reflected on the twin doors.

The path faintly follows the fence.

It rains a lot, the fruits in the garden are overripe.

Tthe rice ripens and the birds get fat.

Sake is brewed to welcome the new shrine.

Sometimes the flute on the cow sounds.

Where did they have a meal in the rice field and return home.
